Sky New Zealand - Sky Broadband
Role
Digital Design, Motion Design
A comprehensive suite of digital campaign assets was required for deployment across a massive multi-platform media buy.
I handled the end-to-end production of static and motion assets across Meta (Carousels), Google PMAX, Google Demand Gen, Teads and Reddit. Static frames and motion storyboards were laid out for DV360, providing a clear blueprint for responsive HTML5 banner execution.
The creative needed to communicate a premium yet highly competitive retail message: fast, reliable fibre built for streaming, browsing, and everything in between.
Sky New Zealand’s signature deep midnight blue background was paired with a dynamic diagonal gradient glow, giving a literal visual nod to the raw energy and momentum of a fast fibre connection.
To capture attention on cluttered social feeds, static imagery
wasn’t enough. A rhythmic motion sequence was created where key value words like "SPEED" and "SAVINGS" shift from outlined typography into a solid, vibrant golden-yellow — giving a literal visual nod to "powering up" the user’s home connection.
The masterbrand lockup was securely positioned to guarantee immediate brand recall in fast-scrolling environments.
Utilizing angled typography and continuous gradients, a visual "flow" was created that encouraged users to swipe through from the hook to the pricing matrix, ending on a strong "Get Offer" CTA.
Because placements such as Teads often play sound-off within articles, the motion graphics were designed so the energetic kinetic text shifts did all the talking, maintaining 100% message comprehension entirely without audio.
